1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using DriveScope ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.
2. Description of Service
DriveScope is a permissions visualization and management dashboard for Google Shared Drives. The Service:
- Connects to Google Drive via OAuth2 (read-only scope)
- Scans and visualizes permission metadata
- Provides filtering, search, and export capabilities
- Offers AI-powered insights and risk detection
Important: DriveScope does not access, read, or store file contents. We only process permission metadata.
3. User Accounts and Access
To use DriveScope, you must:
- Have a valid Google Workspace account with access to Shared Drives
- Grant OAuth2 permissions (drive.readonly scope)
- Provide accurate information when creating an account
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any illegal purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' data
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service
- Use automated systems to access the Service without permission
- Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
5. Service Availability
We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be unavailable due to:
- Scheduled maintenance
- Google API outages or rate limits
- Technical issues beyond our control
6. Pricing and Billing
Free Plan: Available for limited use (1 Shared Drive).
Paid Plans: Billed monthly or annually. You may cancel at any time. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.
We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to existing customers.
7. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, features, and functionality, is owned by DriveScope and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works without permission.
8. Limitation of Liability
DriveScope is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for:
- Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Loss of data or permissions due to Google API changes
- Service interruptions or downtime
- Decisions made based on DriveScope insights
9. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.
You may terminate your account at any time by revoking OAuth access in your Google account settings.
10. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
